Various Sites Providing Information About Cornwall I have included a disparate collection of sites which I have found, and which seem to provide information about Cornwall. Although they appear to be useful, I cannot vouch for the contents.
This site give general tourist information and appears to be a good source of accommodation in all areas of UK, including Cornwall •Cornish Mining World Heritage Site This site gives information about the proceedings to get UNESCO recognition of the importance of Cornish mining developments to the industrialisation of the world. It contains a marvellous collection of links to industrial history related sites. •http://homepages.tesco.net/~k.wasley/events.htm Mr Wasley gives some superb information and links Cornish history and religion, and the linked page shows events happening in Cornwall. The last time I looked, the guest book he was using was spawning lots of spam from Miatrade Hypermart (including a download for guest book code.) Not too much of a problem if you are ready to close the multiplicity of pages. Well worth the hassle though. •http://www.cornwall-online.co.uk Cornwall-Online is fairly commercial, giving information on site to stay (and takes links for around £100 per throw!). Its general interest pages are worth a read for information on sites of tourist interest. •http://www.cornwall.gov.uk Cornwall County Council’s own site should not be overlooked as a source of information. Lots of useful stuff is there, but sometimes takes a bit of digging to find it. Inevitable for any large site, I suppose.
